Hi everyone,

Dawn and I attended a Diocesan teaching day at the Cathedral this week. It was all about growing the church, and I have to say it was one of the best Diocesan teaching days I’ve been to. The speaker spoke about how the Gospels were always counting people…12 disciples, 10 lepers healed, 5000 fed, 3000 were added to their number. Its not that numbers per se are important but its that people are important. In the Church of England “we count everyone because everyone counts!” and we believe the best way to live life is living it with a knowledge of God.
