Notices W/C 19th January

Hello everyone

1 Thessalonians 5:18 says: “give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
This command isn’t for God’s benefit but for ours, God is secure enough without needing our applause! There is a tangible power in thanksgiving, particularly in the midst of trials and mystery. In my experience it can really help our sense of well being and satisfaction with life. I always remember a well known speaker, David Parker, saying if you are not sure what to be thankful for, just find something. If nothing else thank Him you are still breathing!

I’ve been thankful for many things this week, we had a very positive meeting with the church authorities about the possible new hall extension at Wollaston, and as you will see from the newsletter, Scott Bader are allowing us to use their car parks again on Sunday morning!!!!
With blessings,
Adrian
