Hello Everyone

I’ve been recently reflecting again on that very well known Jesus saying: 

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

We often recognise the ‘weary and burdened’ bit quite well, that is what the world seems to give out in plenty! In comparison, Jesus offers ‘rest’, he’s ‘easy’, his burden is ‘light’. I remember once hearing a guy called Graham Cook talk about working from a place of rest, it was so counter-cultural and encouraging… To be at rest is Godly! So, the next time someone asks me, ‘Are you busy?’, I might just reply, ‘No, just been resting my soul… its easy this following Jesus thing…’
