Notices W/C 10th May

Hello Everyone

I don’t know about you but when I’m in a ‘testing’ kind of time, I try to ask and hear from the Lord as to ‘What can I learn from this season?’ It has to be said that I don’t always succeed in this.

Obviously we are all in a ‘testing’ time and I wonder whether the Lord is trying to teach me ‘patient endurance’!! I can get a little frustrated that news isn’t coming quick enough as to when the lockdown will be further eased, or when will the Bishop give us more information about what we can and cannot do regarding church services. I remember Heidi Baker (Iris ministries) saying that there are not many conferences entitled ‘How to patiently endure through times of hardship’! Yet, to be able to patiently endure is, I believe, a commendable character trait.

Hebrews 10:36 (NLT) says this:“Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised.”

Maybe its a good text for a lot of us at the moment… and particularly if you are home schooling 😀

Here is this week’s traditional service and newsletter, please note that we again planning Zoom social gatherings at 11am on Sunday morning… details are in the newsletter…

With blessings
