Well this week has seen some of our buildings open for private prayer and reflection and the newsletter will tell you which buildings are open when. If you know me at all, you will know I’ve never been that fond of church buildings… I primarily see them as a useful facility that determines to a large extent the kind of services and ministries that can effectively be offered to the community. So facilities are useful but the life is in the people!
Having said that I am reminded of the story of the building of the Temple of Solomon. God’s glory was established there as a response to priests who worshipped. The result: the powers of darkness were defeated in the region because light dispels darkness!
Lets hope we are soon back worshipping together in these useful facilities
Attached are this week’s newsletter and the traditional service (without sermon notes this week I’m afraid),
