Following the government guidelines for places of worship to be open from 4th July, the Church of England have produced their own guidelines this week for keeping the environment safe, and I’m sure the Bishop will comment on these next week. A number of us though have been ‘ploughing’ through the implications of these guidelines and we are still discussing what would need to be done and when we should therefore open for Sunday worship.
The PCC at Bozeat have already made the decision that St. Mary’s Bozeat won’t be open for Sunday worship until September/October at the earliest.
The other churches in the Benefice haven’t made any decisions yet about when is the right time to open but I’ll give you more information next week about this…
Attached is this week’s newsletter and the traditional service and as we have the Bishop speaking at both this service and the WEBS adult based service, it does mean there are no sermon notes again this week.
