Hello Everyone

Looking at the figures it feels like we are in for a long haul to get out of the other side of this pandemic… I don’t know about you but I’m having to choose to be positive & optimistic as we persevere through this latest lockdown. I’m also so missing getting together for worship…

During the online services this Sunday (and some details are in this week’s newsletter) I’m announcing an online Lent course that will start the week beginning the 15th Feb. Bishop Donald has produced 7 x 30mins teaching videos on the book of Hebrews. So the way the course will work is that each week people will be encouraged to read a few chapters of Hebrews out loud, listen to the teaching video which will be published on Monday morning each week, and then there will be a Zoom discussion on Wednesday evenings for those who want to talk about it further.  I realise some people may well be ‘Zoomed out’…! It’ll be an opportunity during this lockdown to do some bible study together and get to grips with maybe an unfamiliar but rich book of the Bible…
