You will no doubt have heard the latest government announcement this week telling us ‘Plan B’ is now upon us. There is a notice in this week’s newsletter giving information on what this means for churches, but essentially, face coverings are now mandatory in places of worship, except for those with exemptions, and… apparently, face coverings can be taken off to sing!?

Those with good memories may well remember the guidance not too long ago which warned against singing because of the increased risk of spreading covid… the phrase ‘don’t shoot the messenger’ comes to mind….

Don’t forget, if you are planning to attend the Carol service at Easton Maudit this Sunday evening at 6pm, you do need to book in via Anne Leathers.
