Hello Everyone

The world is in some turmoil at the moment, with much suffering happening in Ukraine, leading to economic challenges across the world which will impact the poorest of the world.

The much quoted verse from Matthew 24 comes to mind of course:You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.

It is hard for us in the rest of Europe but for those in Ukraine it must be desperately hard not to be “alarmed”. Yet that is what the Scripture says and it still has power because it points to the One who King David speaks of in Psalm 24:The earth is the LORD’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it.

Our hope in life and in death has to be in Him…There are details of how we might start offering practical support to Ukraine in the newsletter, together with many other notices and details of the Sunday services.
