Firstly thank you to all who are donating items to help those in Ukraine, and a big thank you to Paul & Cynthia Chadwick for coordinating all this! You’ll see a notice about this in the newsletter, but I am hearing that a number of church families are registering on the government’s home for Ukrainians scheme. Do get in touch if you are doing this, as I am coordinating a support group for host families in and around Wollaston.
A number of people are praying Psalm 31 for the situation in Ukraine, which begins:
In you, LORD, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame; deliver me in your righteousness. Turn your ear to me, come quickly to my rescue; be my rock of refuge, a strong fortress to save me. and finishes with:
Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the LORD.
This Sunday is Mothering Sunday so we will be honouring mothers and all ladies during the services on Sunday morning…
