Hi everyone,

I’m currently reading through the letter to the Romans.. its a great letter! A recent reading was this:

Therefore, since we are justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have obtained access to this grace in which we stand; and we boast in our hope of sharing the glory of God. And not only that, but we also boast in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not disappoint us.

Romans 5:1-5a (NIV)

There is much in Scripture about ’standing’. Ephesians 6 talks about the need to “stand firm”. There will be times in our faith, particularly in difficult and challenging times that the Lord simply asks us to ’stand firm’. Avoid slipping back and don’t worry about moving forward.. just stand where you are. Stand firm in your calling, stand firm against the enemy and stand firm in your faith.
