Church news comes from your curate once again this week.

This week I have been at the Christian festival Spring Harvest in Skegness. The theme for the week focused on the book of Matthew and what it looks like for us to live in God’s counter-cultural ‘upside-down kingdom’. It was a great week, with some brilliant worship and teaching. In Matthew 5:9, Jesus says ‘blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God’ – one of the seminars I attended was about how Christians can disagree ‘well’ with each other…something that is not always easy! But Jesus is one who comes in peace and calls us all to be peacemakers. What might it look like for us to be people of peace to those both in and outside of our church family this week?
