Health & Wellbeing
This group meets monthly providing health education and promoting healthy and active lifestyles.
Supports Christian family life, by working within communities to bring peace and justice and improving social conditions, especially for women, who in many countries have very few rights. The Mothers’ Union also works in association with other charities by supporting the Daylight Centre in Wellingborough and Baby Basics which runs from Northampton.
The church building is open on a Friday morning, 10am – 12noon, for visitors to look around or simply have a quiet time. Refreshments are available.
A confidential prayer line is offered for prayer support; a number gather on 3rd Sunday evenings at St. Mary’s to pray for the church & community, and Prayer Ministry is offered on most Sunday mornings.
A number of groups meet across the villages and provide an opportunity for fellowship and discipleship.
Tea & Testimony (TNT)
Empowering women with the love of Jesus as they walk through separation and divorce.
Runs on Monday evenings during the summer months. A small team gathers at St. Mary’s in worship and a quiet time, listening for Holy Spirit words and pictures. The team then go out into the village looking for the people (‘treasures’) we believe the Lord is connecting us with.
