Children on Sundays

As a church we want to welcome and value children and young people. On most Sundays the children and young people stay in the main service for the first 20mins or so. After this they go to their own age-related activities. Visiting children are very welcome to either go out with the other children or stay in the main service with their parent(s)/guardians. The congregation at St. Mary’s is certainly not put off by children moving about or being noisy!

For pre-school children there is the ‘Walker-Pitt’ room at the back of the building, and parents/carers are asked to supervise their children in this area.

If you would like further information on the children’s work at St. Mary’s then please contact: Louise Morton on 01933 664256, or through our contact page

Oddiebodies, runs on a Tuesday morning 10:30-12:00 at St. Mary’s in the main church building, and is a parents and tots group. Come along for tea, cake and a chat. Toys and activities for the kids. Best news is, it is free.

Family Bible Breakfast (FaBB)

This runs on every 1st Sunday morning of the month at 11am and starts with refreshments. Whilst we want St. Mary’s to be welcoming to all ages at every service, FaBB is particularly accessible to children and their families. During refreshments the there are a number of activity tables that the children can be involved with, whilst adults can normally join in with a led Bible study, or simply enjoy the company of others. Following refreshments, there is a shorter service suitable for children and adults alike.
