Hello Everyone

I’m currently reading a book by John McGinley called ‘The church of tomorrow’. Its premise is that in light of falling church attendance in the west (which there has been for many years), coupled with our coming out of a pandemic which seems to have increased the decline with many established Christians now not attending that regularly, if at all, there are still countless reasons to hope. Rather than being depressed by the situation, is this a God given opportunity to change what we are doing… i.e.

“it is no longer possible for historic resources to paper over the cracks and pay the costs of clergy and buildings that smaller congregations can no longer afford.”

More than that, is God instigating a change, a reformation even, in the western church. The rest of the book (I’m half way through!) talks about what the marks of the changed church will look like.. It looks an interesting read and I’ll keep you posted!

This week’s livestream will be here:

Attached are the latest newsletter and traditional service,
